Individual Therapy and Organizational Wellness in Los Angeles
Cardinal Collective is a Black-owned mental health and wellness collaborative offering therapy, community engagement, and organizational partnerships rooted in emotional resilience and cultural awareness. Whether your goal is individual transformation or organizational growth, your next step begins here.
Individual Therapy
I am Charles Gee, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California and Texas. I create spaces for healing, processing, and intentional growth, serving clients in Los Angeles and throughout California via secure telehealth. I work with individuals navigating identity, family-of-origin dynamics, relational tension, and patterns that continue to resurface despite their best efforts.
You may appear composed and capable on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward. My approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with a culturally responsive lens to support clarity, emotional resilience, and meaningful, lasting transformation.
Communities & Organizations
Cardinal Collective partners with community groups, universities, and organizations in Los Angeles and throughout California to cultivate emotionally intelligent and culturally responsive environments where psychological safety and collective well-being are prioritized.
Through facilitated dialogue, workshops, and strategic consultation, we support organizations in strengthening resilience, addressing systemic stressors, and creating spaces where individuals and communities can experience sustainable growth and meaningful transformation.
The foundation of Our Work
Community
A shared sense of care and understanding serves as a catalyst for healing and sustainable growth. We emphasize collective care and support networks, recognizing that belonging creates the emotional safety necessary for meaningful transformation.
Culture
Our work acknowledges the impact of marginalization, oppression, and trauma on mental well-being. We support individuals in drawing strength from their sociocultural identities while navigating environments that may have once viewed those identities as limitations rather than assets.
Connectedness
Authentic relationships are foundational to resilience. We help individuals understand how they relate to themselves and others, cultivating skills that strengthen communication, healthy boundaries, and emotional balance.
